Herbology is a Mandatory Class here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry until for first years to fifth years. Students will spend their time in class learning different varieties of magical plants that exist. The further into a student's education the more difficult and dangerous the plants become. When you reach your fifth year, you will be working with a variety of dangerous plants, as well as revisiting the past four years of your Herbology Education. This is to prepare you for your Ordinary Wizarding Level Examinations. If a student achieves a passing grade on their Herbology O.W.L.s, you may move into the advance class for your sixth and seventh year, where you will prepare for your Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Test.
