Harry was simply having a nice ice cream at Florean’s Ice Cream Parlour, when he pulled out a book to quickly do some of his homework. For some reason Mr. Fortescue seemed to know a lot about the Salem Witch Trials and he was a huge help for this essay he was supposed to work on before the end of the summer. His parents had brought him to Diagon Alley a little bit before the big haul of students for school supplies. The lists hadn’t been sent out yet, but one had many a reason to visit the alleyway. For his parents they had to get something. Harry just bade them farewell and got himself an ice cream while they did whatever they were here for. He did not really care all that much as long as it wasn’t trying to surprise him with new dress robes. The ones he picked out last year were great – sure they were a bit short now but who needed dress robes often anyways? “I dunno what I would do if I was around that time. Prob’ly hide like most people did. Though I suppose that’s why there’s this movement going on nowadays with the people wanting to merge with the muggles…” Harry was rubbing his temples as he muttered to his paper. History of Magic was one of his worst subjects and he didn’t really get a lot of things, but at least this assignment for the summer had something to do with what was happening with today – it was actually just to write about how events today were similar to historical events and because Florean had shown his genius in his third year on the Salem Witch Trials, he had decided to ask the ice cream man about it. Ginny had chosen to tag along with a small trip to Diagon Allley. She wanted to check out some brooms for the upcoming quidditch season. Of course most were far too expensive but she had been saving up for one. The free to use brooms at the school worked, but they were not always the best. She was dressed in a casual pair of jeans and sweater. Her hair left down over her shoulders. Eventually she broke off from her group with plans to meet up with the later. Walking past the ice cream shop she noticed Harry.
Deciding to be nice she went in to say hello. She made her way over to his table calmly. She was a year younger than Harry but they were both in the same house and played quidditch together. She would definitely consider him a good friend of her. "Hey...didn't expect you in Diagon Alley" she said kindly.

[nospaces] [attr="class","sidelongcredits"] [attr="class","sidelong"] [attr="class","bodybox"] [attr="class","text-space icon"] Harry had gotten a bit of ice cream on his paper and began to rub it off, forgetting about how he had magic for a moment. Unfortunately, it just spread the yellow color over the words, and he groaned. He was going to have to rewrite it even with magic now. Suddenly, he heard words behind him, and he jumped, turning towards the voice and seeing Ginny standing there. His eyes widened and he cleared his throat, a bit of his banana ice cream dripping out of the corner of his mouth. He quickly wiped it away and chuckled nervously. [break][break] It was Ginny after all. She was extremely amazing in many regards – she stood up for herself and he was sure if he pissed her off, he would be on the receiving end of an amazing hex. She was one of the best Quidditch players he had seen and could probably take over his position. Gave him a run for his money and made sure he was on his toes – after all he couldn’t lose his position, even if she wouldn’t want to take that from him. It just meant that he had to make sure to stay as good as he was at seeking. She was also fairly nice but keeping that strength to not let others push her around while being accepting. All of that in a beautiful young woman – any guy would be lucky to… be chosen by her. Maybe he could be the chosen one! [break][break] “A-Ah! Ginny. My parents are doing something in Gringott’s I think – What about you? If you aren’t too busy – oh well I mean – I have some time and – and – maybe –” Harry sucked in a breath and ran a hand through his hair, messing it up a little bit as he did. “Maybe we could hang out? M-Maybe dinner at the Leaky Cauldron or – or just ice cream here – or both! You know, catch up and – and stuff.” [attr="class","headerbox"] made by gimmick [googlefont=Hind:400,700][googlefont=Poppins:400,700]

Ginny felt bad for seemingly startling Harry. It hadn't been intentional just passing by when she had seen him. Especially prior to most students coming to Diagon Alley for school supplies. "Oh..sorry didn't mean to startle you" she said with a soft kind smile. She moved to stand in front of him as he seemed to gather himself once more.
She had initially tagged along with her brothers who had been seemingly searching for something in Diagon Alley. When it came to the twins sometimes it was better no to ask questions. The two were always up to no good. Plus the trip gave her an excuse to get out of the burrow for a short while. And of course check out some of the quidditch gear.
"Oh I just tagged along with Fred and George... was checking out some quidditch gear. A good excuse to get out of the burrow for a while." she answered him. Though when he asked to catch up she looked at a clock on the wall to ensure she had time. "I promise I am not that busy. Plus I have a few hours left so I don't see why not" she said with a kind smile. Her brown eyes looking to him calmly. She didn't seem to bother by his reaction or his nervousness.
