- When his Father died in 1979 Regulus became head of the Black family; did try to patch his relationship with his brother but it ended in a fight and Regulus got a broken nose; truth is Regulus got arrogant and his long time infatuation with his brother's fiance boiled over and he act out of a jealous rage that shattered their bond.
